Post-Treatment Resource Program staff lead time-limited educational support groups tailored to give cancer survivors an opportunity to work on personal and practical concerns in a concentrated way. We encourage people to share concerns while taking an active approach to the issues at hand.

  • Transitions: For Those Who Have Undergone Treatment for Autologous or Allogeneic Transplant

    For people recently finished with autologous or allogeneic transplant, this group meets to discuss the challenges of coping with feelings of isolation and fatigue with healthcare team members.

  • Bladder Cancer: Challenges & Solutions

    A monthly discussion and support group with healthcare team members, tailored to enhance physical and emotional recovery.

  • Primary Brain Tumors: A Gathering for Patients and Families

    A monthly group for people treated for primary brain tumors, their family, and friends.

  • Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow: A Discussion Group for Survivors of Childhood Cancers

    A bi-monthly support group for cancer survivors who were treated as children and teenagers.

  • Colorectal Cancer

    A bi-monthly group that focuses on the physical and emotional changes after colorectal cancer treatment.

  • Esophagectomy: Finding a New Balance

    A bi-monthly group that focuses on adapting to medical and psychological changes following esophagectomy.

  • Grace & Grit: A Women's Circle

    A weekly group providing women cancer survivors an opportunity to share concerns while taking a problem-solving approach.

  • Head, Neck, and Oral Cancers: Moving Forward

    A monthly group for people treated for head, neck, and oral cancers, to discuss needs and concerns with healthcare team members.

  • Hematologic Cancers

    Bi-monthly program that provides information and discussion related to leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma.

  • Living Well Programs

    These programs focus on physical functioning and health maintenance, practical matters, and age/gender specific programs.

  • Lung Cancer: Breathing Easier

    For people who have been treated for lung cancer. A monthly group to assist in strengthening the recovery process by obtaining information, learning breathing techniques, and building emotional and management skills.

  • Focus on Lymphedema

    This is a bi-monthly program that has workshops and groups that addresses this potentially debilitating condition.

  • Men & Cancer: Maintaining Focus

    Monthly workshops, specifically for men, that provide tools to help participants move ahead with confidence after treatment.

  • Prostate Cancer Support Group

    This is a monthly support group for prostate cancer survivors. It is co-lead by a social worker and a nurse.

  • Young Adults (21-39): New Challenges/New Beginnings

    A weekly group for young adults who are interested in discussing survivorship issues.

  • Dating and Disclosure

    This quarterly program focuses on the challenges that sharing a cancer experience can present to survivors of all ages. When, how, and whether to disclose your history will be the focus of this educational group workshop.
